Expedition to Korea, Transplant the experience to Taoyuan English Village
English villages in South Korea provide a short-term immersion English experience in a live-in environment where only English is spoken. This is intended to promote English learning and to build students' international cultural awareness.
The English Villages in Kore are places where people can use the English language in a variety of contexts
as well as experience English-speaking cultures. All this can happen right here in Korea.
There is now an alternative to traveling abroad for this type of experience. The English Village offers a similar environment that students, families and teachers might experience in a foreign country, all right herein our own backyard.
The objective of English Village in Korea is to provide the public and mainly residents with opportunities to put everyday English into practice and improve their language skills. Taoyuan county government has set the same goal as the English Villages in Korea and hope the expedition to Korea can help Taoyuan county government transplant the concept to the first English in Taiwan.
